The color was a nice deep navy and the top( velour) side of the towel is soft to the touchBut the towel is disappointingly thin and the towel is not very large. These will be fine for everyday pool towels for guests, but for a few dollars more per towel I can get big, thick, thirsty towels at a local box store. I thought I was getting a higher quality towel that received.
