I have some nice, thicker kitchen towels ina medium (not cherry) red and wanted some additional towels that weren’t kitschy and a decent price. I’ve had these for a few months - no noticeable fading (though I line dry them most often), not wrinkly, look great, and work well as glass and plate drying towels. They aren’t as absorbent as my thicker towels that have a terry-like back. I generally find the thinner dish towels like these are better than the terry blend ones at drying glassware.Overall, very happy with these towels. Gave only three stars for absorbency because other thin woven towels absorb better. But you get what you pay for, and these are good enough and look great!Love these, just what I have been looking for. Soft and absorbent for drying dishes. Nice size and they wash up great. Always look and feel good out of the dryer. They work nice as a cloth inside a basket of dinner rolls too.i like .The twill striped towels are soft, fairly thick and absorbent. They come out of the drier fairly flat. This is in contrast to the plaid towels which are made of a thinner, woven fabric, not as soft and are badly rolled/wrinkled coming out of the drier. In the future I would order only the twill towels.What is listed as "barn red" can best be described as brown.
