I purchased these to use as a sewn-in filter for handmade masks during COVID-19. Along with two layers of tightly woven fabric, this brand tested well for filtration. As sewn-in filters, they‘ve held up better than Scott brand disposable shop towels during machine washing and aren’t pulling away from the seams. They are easier to cut with a rotary blade and don’t dull the blade as quickly. They also handle moisture from breathing better during all-day use.*Be aware that the manufacturer is not recommending using these towels as face masks. They also don’t recommend washing them.This box holds more then I will ever use for masks. When the epidemic is over the remainder will go into the shop.
