These were not very thick, one of the seams came undone at the first washing, and the velour side balled up after one wash. However, considering the price and number of towels I really was not surprised or could I expect anything else. If you want to use them for serious towels probably should look elsewhere but if you are using them temporarily or for housekeeping they are good value for the money.These washed and dried easily without shrinking or getting distorted in shape, which I've found in some other towels. I don't know how well they'll hold up over the long term, but for now, I'm quite pleased.Nice light grade/weight hand towels, I use them as washable napkins, careful the first time you wash them, a little blue comes out and blue fuzz fluffs off in the dryer. Wash with colors, not whites. Seem fine for my needs. 10 pack is great for the price...you could throw a few in each car as a wipe up towel.New note: this is my second order, as I use them as napkins they do get abused and washed a lot. First set is still alive after a year....only 2 fell apart from use.Now this is my third Order, sizes seem to change a little over time....weirdly, they are getting bigger. On the last batch the side seems died sooner that the very first order. When the side seems go bad/unnravvel I just move them to the garage. I still believe that this is a great deal and I have used these as napkins for decades. Recommend these , replace as necessary.The surprise was twelve, not ten, towels! Great color, soft, not too thin (as some said.). It's so hard to find fingertip towels that aren't part of a bath set, or don't have a design embroidered on them. I like to use them for messy meals, instead of plopping a roll of paper t. on the table. Also when we have a group at our house to eat, it's just my "thing" to use these towels. So, for that, they should be perfect. Not confident they will last 20-30 years like my originals which are still going strong! Two of them have obvious blems, pulls or runs going all the way across, like 4 places each. I guess those are the two I wasn't expecting to receive!Great value and multi usesLike the size of these for a person who needs smaller towels to grab when drying hands or brushing teeth. Royal Velvet had fingertip size towels years ago but those are thicker. These are thin and easy for her to use, that is what she wanted. Wash warm water, dry low heat, they shrink just a little. They are slightly smaller than described, about 1inch shorter. Smooth, velour like on one side and Terry looped on the other.These are a great set of finger towels for the price. They're not the highest quality and sometimes I cut or pull off scraggly pieces after a washing, but since you get ALL of these for the price of ONE in other places, I will never complain about a couple strings. It hasn't affected the look of them at all and we've been using them daily and washing them regularly for several months now. The color holds up well. And the colors I don't need for our bathroom decor, I've been using for putting wet boots/shoes on, or quick clean-ups around the house. I even tucked one into the car for spills! This was a tremendous value and I'd happily buy again.This is the third time I have owned these fingertip towels. They start to ravel out after fourth or fifth wash and I have to reorder. If this order ravels out, I won’t be buying anymore
