I've been wanting to try Turkish towels for a long time. When I received these (great shipping - arrived in 2 days), my husband rolled his eyes and could not believe they would be absorbent enough to dry a full sized adult after a shower. They felt a little rough at first but I washed and dried them and they softened nicely. The instructions said to hand wash and line dry but they were fine washed and dried in the machine.I love the colors and the size. I've used these as a wrap, tied around my wait, when I go to the pool and love how quickly they dry. Definitely a plus in hot humid summer.My husband has also been won over. He thought he was going to hate them. He is a big guy and has always used oversize bath sheets. Well, he loves these and want to get rid of the regular towels and replace them with another set of these!
