As I'm ...um... maturing, I find my skin is getting very dry and lacking GLOW. The days of splashing my face with water and dashing out the door are over, replaced by oils, lotions, potions, and yet still, my face felt like it had a thin layer of leathery film. Washing off a mask, I realized that it was actually the washcloth that left my skin feeling soft and looking rosy and fresh. I began a regime of washing my face with a cloth, nightly, and found that this mystery film of dry skin ceased to return. Not wanting to continue to use the same washcloths my family uses to clean their bodies, I purchased these washcloths with fingers crossed. A++ They are perfect! Not too soft, yet not too scratchy. Not too large, yet just perfect for washing and rinsing my face. I chose white, so I can bleach them clean and free of bacteria. The price was right, so if I only get 6 months of use out of them, I won't be disappointed. The stitching is neat and well made. All of mine arrived in perfect condition. They're just the right thickness for face washing, allowing you to rinse them void of soap, quickly and easily, then use them to wipe product from your face. With a decent squeeze, they do not drip. Depending on the pressure you use, they exfoliate without damaging your skin. I could see these making excellent dish washing cloths too, but I might seek something a tad softer for washing baby.I have a problem! I can only use white wash cloths. I travel a lot & take 2 of these with me on every trip,My man always the ones from the hotel & I hate sharing. Okay, so I am a germaphobe too.I love these. Size, texture.& color. They do the job a rag would expect you to do. If they get too much stain on them or glue or epoxy I just throw them away without a moments notice and buy moreI like to have a pile of facecloths next to mybsink for people to ise instead of paper towels or the one guest towel. These facecloths come in packsnof 12 or 14. My only complaint is that in each packet there has been at least one cloth that is sewn badly so it is fraying feom the start. Otherwise they are a good value and, oc course, terry cloth is the best.I expected to get a 12 pack of decent quality wash clothes that I could use for myself personally to wash my face and hands with , ones that I could use just for me that I could bleach in the wash if necessary. They looked nice online , but when I received them they all had loose threads coming from them , I tried to tie some of them off the ones that were long enough to do so. I washed them and washing only made them worse , they came out of the washer with knotted thread (strings) all twisted up , I had to cut them apart to be able to get them loose from each other. I put them in the dryer and the lint filter was full of lint after 30 minutes. They did come out soft as I used a fabric softener and dryer sheet. These are cheaply made and I will give them to my husband for rags for his garage ! They also, did shrink too which I would have expected them to being 100 % cotton but I didn't expect them to all be knotted and loose threads. I would not recommend these to anyone , cheap wash clothes not quality made.I bought these to use as dish cloths. They are thin and will do fine for this purpose. I need something to wash dishes with that are not too bulky. These will work but I don't count on them lasting more than a year. If you are looking for a washcloth this is not the one to buy. They are thin, and the weave is imperfect. They are made in Pakastan and are low quality.UPDATE: I’ve had these towels since 2018, it’s 2021 and still going strong! So I just got ordered another pack because you can never have too many of these as I use them daily for my face and wash them weekly. These are nicer quality than I was expecting! I use them to dry my face as I’m acne prone, and I ordered white so I can throw them in the wash with some bleach and disinfect them. They’re not too thick nor too thin, but they’re still absorbent and do the job! I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my face and realized how badly I was treating it using the same towel for days at a time. Now I use one of these at every face wash and that has helped tremendously with the acne. Great value for the money! As order
