We love these, and have given them to both our mothers, but after less than a year, one of the ties broke off one of them. It’s possible it was due to used roughly, but the ties didn’t seem as durable as some other aprons we have had over the years.Nice aprons ..love that they are waterproof and that pockets are li!ke towels to clean handsAfter my mother ended up wearing the entire thanksgiving dinner on her clothes this year, she conceded that any attempt to get the Jackson Pollak like masterpiece of grease out of her silk shirt would be futal, I began my search for just the right apron to address all of her “cooking” challenges without feeling like she was being punished. I found it! This is perfect! The tasteful patterned. waxy material is complimented on each side with super soft terry cloth (for those of us who always wipe their hands on their pants) will keep moms clothes out of the trash can. I live the luxurious aestheti that will be worn by mom as well as her boyfriend for many holidays to come & I walked away a hero! Definitely ordering them for all my girlfriends.I love this apron for washing dishes. I got tired of getting my shirt all wet so this was perfect for me. I’m usually a size XL and it fit just fine. It doesn’t stretch, obviously, but I like the little cloth pieces on the side so I can wipe my hands dry. It doesn’t look like they’re sewn on too great, but you get what you pay for!First of all the strings were too short and actually one of them tore off right after I had wore it a few times . I liked the color and that they are water proof but I needed them to be a little longer and more water resistant and durable.It's a great apron so far. My dishwasher is broken, so I've been handwashing all of my dishes for a year, and now I don't end up soaking wet afterwards! The edges are a bit frayed, but it was cheap, so it doesn't concern me. The waist ties are a bit short (I prefer to tie my aprons in the front, so i just cut them off and sewed grosgrain ribbon onto the sides - easy peasy. I love the 'towels' on the sides!The texture is not what I was expecting. It’s stiff and sort of like a rubbery material. I was expecting like a softer gas if that was treated to be waterproof? Full disclosure, I’m terrible about reading the description and specs... I look at it, read a few reviews, make a decision and move on. For $10 bucks though it’s a good product. It’s cute and gets the job done. I really like having the side towel things to wipe my hands dry real quick. I haven’t washed it yet so I can’t speak to how it holds up after that.I enjoy this apron but it is still very big on me. I thought it’s great with waterproof but the pocket placement was strange. The sides was also with a microfiber material to wipe hand... which was cool
